The Suppliers tab is where you can add new suppliers, view and edit existing supplier data.
To create new supplier, click New Supplier button.
By default, you will see the following columns:
|Accounts payable||Balance of supplier taking into account all transactions including Purchase Invoices, Payments and other transactions|
|Status||Status indicating whether there is balance due|
Use Edit columns button to customize what columns should be visible under Suppliers tab.
Clicking Edit columns button allows you to add additional columns to better suit your business requirements.
|Code||Code of Supplier|
|Email address||Email address of Supplier|
|Control account||Control account into which this Supplier belongs to|
|Division||Division into which this supplier is assigned to|
|Receipts||Number of Receipts associated with this supplier. Receipts are usually refunds from Suppliers so not very common.|
|Payments||Number of Payments associated with this supplier.|
|Purchase Quotes||Number of Purchase Quotes associated with this supplier.|
|Purchase Orders||Number of Purchase Orders associated with this supplier.|
|Purchase Invoices||Number of Purchase Invoices associated with this supplier.|
|Debit Notes||Number of Debit Notes associated with this supplier.|
|Goods Receipts||Number of Goods Receipts associated with this supplier.|
|Qty to receive||Total quantity of inventory items to be received from this supplier based on Purchase Invoices and Goods Receipts|
|Withholding tax payable||If Supplier is subject to withholding tax, then this indicates how much withholding tax needs to be paid on this supplier.|
|Available credit||If Credit limit is used, this indicates how much credit can be utilized.|
