The Sales Orders tab is a tool that allows businesses to draft, monitor, and manage orders from their customers. This feature keeps track of the sales order details, including items sold, quantities, prices, and customer information. Not only does it help in maintaining a smooth sales process, but it also provides a clear view of the pending and fulfilled orders.
New Sales Order
To create new sales order, click New Sales Order button.
By default, you will see the following columns:
|Date||Date of Sales Order|
|Reference||Reference number of Sales Order|
|Customer||Customer for who is this Sales Order for|
|Description||Description of Sales Order|
|Order Amount||Amount on Sales Order|
Use Edit columns button to customize what columns should be visible under Sales Orders tab.
Clicking Edit columns button allows you to add additional columns to better suit your business requirements.
|Sales Quote||If Sales Order is associated with Sales Quote|
|Qty to deliver||If Sales Order has inventory items, this column will show total quantity to be delivered. The quantity is decreased using Delivery Notes|
|Delivery Status||Status column indicating whether there is any quantity to deliver left.|
|Invoice Amount||This column can track whether Sales Order has been fully invoiced. The invoice total of all Sales Invoices associated with the order is shown in this column.|
|Invoice Status||Status column indicating whether the order has been fully invoiced.|
