The Starting Balances screen for balance sheet accounts allows you to set up initial balances for any custom balance sheet accounts you've created under your Chart of Accounts. Setting accurate starting balances is crucial for maintaining correct financial records, especially when transitioning from another accounting system to Manager.
To create a new starting balance for a balance sheet account:
Navigate to the Starting Balances section for balance sheet accounts.
Click the New Starting Balance
button.
You will be taken to the Starting Balance entry screen for balance sheet accounts.
Enter the necessary details for the account starting balance.
