Summary

The Summary tab offers a comprehensive glance at your company's financial standing and results. It serves as a dashboard, allowing you to quickly assess the current financial condition of your business.

Summary

This tab displays the balances of various accounts, providing an overview of your financial wellbeing. It includes details on assets, liabilities, equity, income, and expenses, all organized into distinct accounts or categories for straightforward navigation.

Customizing the Summary Period

By default, the Summary tab shows balances for all entered transactions. This is appropriate if you're starting a new business on Manager.io. However, if you're migrating an existing business to Manager.io or have been using Manager.io for more than one accounting period, you may want to tailor your Summary screen to display balances for your current accounting period only.

To customize the Summary period and other parameters relevant to your business situation, click the Edit button at the top of the Summary tab.
