Account — Withholding tax payable

This guide explains how to rename the built-in WithholdingTaxPayable account in Manager.io. This account is automatically added to your ChartOfAccounts when you enable withholding taxes on purchase invoices. Note that this account cannot be deleted, but you can rename it to suit your needs.

Accessing the WithholdingTaxPayable Account

To access the form for editing the WithholdingTaxPayable account:

1. Go to Settings.
2. Click on ChartOfAccounts.
3. Locate the WithholdingTaxPayable account.
4. Click the Edit button next to this account.

Editing Account Details

The form for the WithholdingTaxPayable account contains the following fields:

Name

Enter the name of the account. The default name is WithholdingTaxPayable, but you can rename it as desired.

Code

You can enter a code for the account if desired.

Group

Select the group on the BalanceSheet under which this account should be presented.

Saving Changes

After making your changes, click the Update button to save them.
