Connect to Bank Feed Provider

You can connect your bank accounts in Manager.io to an FDX-compatible bank feed provider. This allows you to import transactions directly from your bank into Manager.io, streamlining your accounting process.

Prerequisites

Before you can connect a bank account to a bank feed provider, ensure you have:

  1. A Bank Feed Provider Defined: You must have at least one bank feed provider set up in Manager.io.

    • Navigate to Settings > Bank Feed Providers.

  2. A Bank Account Created: You should have the bank account you wish to connect already created in Manager.io.

Steps to Connect a Bank Account

  1. Access the Bank Account:

    • Go to the Bank Accounts tab.
    • Click on the bank account you want to connect to a bank feed provider.
  2. Initiate the Connection:

    • Click the Connect to Bank Feed Provider button.
  3. Select a Bank Feed Provider:

    • A list of your defined bank feed providers will appear.
    • Select the desired bank feed provider.
    • Click Next.
  4. Authorize Access:

    • You will be prompted to give Manager.io permission to access data from your bank feed provider.
    • Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the authorization.
  5. Link the Bank Account:

    • After authorization, you can select which bank account to link within the bank feed provider.

After Connecting

Once connected, Manager.io will have access to your bank transactions through the bank feed provider. You can then import transactions and reconcile your accounts seamlessly.
