Starting Balances — Investments

You can use the Starting Balances — Investments screen in Manager.io to enter the starting balances for your investments. This ensures your investment figures are correct as of the date you begin using Manager.io.

Accessing the Investments Starting Balances Screen

1. Navigate to the Settings tab in the left sidebar.
2. Click on Starting Balances.
3. In the Starting Balances options, click Investments.

You will see a list of your existing investments and any current starting balances.

Creating a New Starting Balance for an Investment

To add a starting balance for an investment:

1. Click the New Starting Balance button at the top of the screen.

2. You will be taken to the Starting balance entry form for investments.

3. Complete the form as needed for your particular investment. (For detailed instructions on completing the form, see Starting balance — Investment — Edit.)

Managing Investment Starting Balances

• Enter starting balances for each of your investments to accurately reflect their values.
• You can return to this screen to edit or add more starting balances as necessary.

Tip: Make sure you have created your investments in the Investments tab before setting their starting balances.
