Account — Billable expenses - invoiced

The Billable_expenses_invoiced account is a built-in account in Manager.io used to track invoiced billable expenses. This guide explains how to rename this account and adjust its settings.

Accessing the Account Settings

To edit the Billable_expenses_invoiced account:

  1. Go to the Settings tab.
  2. Click on Chart of Accounts.
  3. Locate the Billable_expenses_invoiced account in the list.
  4. Click the Edit button next to the account.

Account Fields

When you access the edit form for the account, you'll see the following fields:

Name

  • Description: The name of the account.
  • Default: Billable_expenses_invoiced
  • Instructions: You can rename the account to suit your preferences.

Code

  • Description: An optional code for the account.
  • Instructions: Enter a code if you wish to assign one to this account.

Group

  • Description: Determines where the account appears on the Profit and Loss Statement.
  • Instructions: Select the appropriate group under which this account should be presented.

Saving Changes

After making your changes:

  • Click the Update button to save.

Important Notes

  • Non-deletable Account: The Billable_expenses_invoiced account cannot be deleted. It is automatically added to your Chart of Accounts when you create at least one billable expense.
